Aerated Bread and Tardis-lite


First in my Regent Canal series. This linocut was based on drawings made while I was at St Martin's School of Art in the mid seventies. The Aerated Bread Company building was demolished in the early 80s to make way for Camdenc Town's Sainsburys store.

The building below is from my Lost Cambridge series. It's the former J Sainsbury. Unlike many of the prints in the series, the building still stands, it is now a Sushi Restaurant. The Tardis-lite police-post, however, dematerialized in the eighties.
